The property is quite nice.. well kept. The room was clean & inviting but the room had a movement sensitive light that would turn on in the middle of the night when going to bathroom. A small annoyance was the location of the toilet paper dispenser was far from toilet. We weren’t told on arrival that there was a charge for breakfast & the hostess there was brusque. The receptionists were all professional and friendly as was other staff we encountered.

We thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights here on a family holiday. An easy 5 min walk to The Commons shops and restaurants was super handy. We also tried a breakfast and a dinner at the hotel's restaurant and both were great. The Chef also makes great cookies! With easy accèss to the freeway you can drive to Hollywood in 30 mins (if no delays). Also very easy to get to Malibu over Malibu Canyon Road. All in all loved it.

The staff were exceptional, 5 stars all around. Everyone in all departments was friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, room was spacious and well stocked with towels and other amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Perfect location, 10 minutes walk from a large shopping plaza. Grounds are well kept. Ample parking. I’ll say it again to emphasize - the staff were fantastic!

It's in a wonderful location of Calabasas, close to shops and restaurants, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly! Having used to have lived close to this hotel's location for many years, it feels like a little home away from home now.
